So i am wondering about a few things about tags. I would like to know what is tag space? I keep hearing talk about tag space, but i haven't found anything explaining what it is. Why do maps have such a thing as tag space? What happens if you go over the amount of tag space that is available? How can you tell how much space you have left? Also Why can't we add tags to premade map files? is there a reason for that? Sorry about all these questions, but i really wanna know about this stuff. Thank you for your time.

By default, multiplayer maps can only be 128 mb in size. If you go over that limit then the map just won't compile. There are some tools that can expand that limit though.

Quote: --- Original message by: Mootjuh When maps are compiled they're compressed to reduce filesize. It makes loading much quicker, hence why loading a scenario in sapien usually takes longer than loading that same map ingame. Shouldn't it be slower since it has to uncompress in real-time?
