I want to know how to change the weapons you spawn with in gametypes like ctf, slayer, classic slayer pro, oddball, etc to custom (different) weapons.

All you have to do is change some values in the starting equipment

In guerilla:
1. Open up your scenario
2. Scroll about halfway down, should be under a table called "Starting Equipment"
3. Change the values here to what you want. Change the "type" to the gametype you want and change the item_collection to the weapons you want

^ basically this. It's the same idea as when you place netgame equipment in sapien. You can choose the gametype that the object applies to. Are you using custom weapons? If so please pay attention to globals. Example: ivory_tower_final uses a modded sniper rifle. If you created a snipers gametype and set the weapons on map to snipers, you spawn with the stock sniper (non-modded) and can then go and pick up another one, resulting in the player being able to carry 2 snipers. Make sure to change your globals to exclude any weapons not being used in the map.
