This is the same master chief thats to be used in Firefight Cairo, (quick update: its not dead yet, but its on hiatus, plan to do custom bsp for it and other things)

Your version looks pretty nice though.

Also, use a lower fov when taking screenshots for HaloMaps.

thats because of the cc. i only got the cc passable by making the diffuse more grey.

i am, i upscaled them a bit with antirowhatevermijig and a tiny tiny bit of an oil paint filter to try and make it look better, failed.

Well anyways, expect a version 3 soon. *sigh*

his newest map uses v1 of this. but fixed cuzz its no longer shiny and cool lookin

The H2V ones are not very high. 515x512

Not sure if there is any difference.

pretty sure they used the original higher res textures on some of it, maybe just the normal though.

As far as Chief textures go, they are not.

All these texture ports make my eyes bleed. They all turn out pretty bad and lowres. Why not model a highres model from the texture and bake it to a new and nice high res texture.

1. Apply the texture to the model for reference.
2. Model out the details from the textures into a highres mesh.
3. Bake new geometry to a new normal map ect which you can use to create a high res texture and normals, but with the same details which the Halo 2 Textures have.

Might make an example at some point, not the entire thing, just an example of how you would model out the details from the texture.

it was a mistake i made trying to dick around with textures, im working on a fixed version that doesnt look like puke.

Decrease the saturation by adjusting the cc.
also use a less contrasted cubemap
