@Patxi: That is just stock footage taken from the web, the third sprite is from action essentials.
I don't mean to be.....mean but you could do a lot better if you have the know how.
@Mootjuh: Sprites from halo 3 are of no use in ce, they require accurate coloring which I suspect was done in Photoshop or in there engine.#
I can color grade them my self, but they would be wildly in accurate to that of bungies. I only use the h3 sprites you gave me for enhancing my own textures.
(thanx for them by the way)
@everybody: As for the sprites, I make them all my self, using my own textures, Hitfilms particle engine, After effects for color grading and photoshop for sprite page organizing.

Lot's of people complain it's really hard to create new effects, IT isn't!
I've had people even complain that modifying pre-existing bitmaps is hard, IT isn't
Example:
This is a generic halo 3 particle bitmap, (muzzle_flash_round_gaseous) by bungie.
And here is my one, (sg_flash_b)
First thing I did, was open the footage in photoshop, play around with the rotation & pixel color curves. Once I was happy I decided to blend in some of my own custom textures and then I exported the image into after effects.
From there it's pretty simple, Add a cc toner and an effect > stylize > glow effect.
Voila, you have something to brag about.
(Apologies for the fb hosted pics, it's just more convenient to put these in a photo album of mine, if you want the original tiff images I'd be happy to give them to you)
I don't mind these being used in smaller projects, but cmt does not have my permission to use this in there projects!
