Halo CE launced March 15th. this saturday will mark the 10th anniversary of Halo CE. any special plans or anything to celebrate? :3

I am planning a remake of Longest (hopefully I will be able to figure out how to do unwrapping) but it will probably be finished in sometime in the summer.

i dont see why not. its on a saturday, we could have the maps be from different years. one from 2004, one from 2005, 2006 and onward XD

I like that idea. If there was a way to figure out the most popular custom map from all ten years, and ran a server featuring those, that could be cool.

There may or may not be some Installation 01 news on Saturday. :3

Hey a modding community for an old game that isn't DooM still lives (slowly claps).

I am amazed that there are still people playing doom these days. I remember playing a couple of days ago and people are still alive as ever playing that game.

May 5, 2004. I missed the release night because I had to finish my final paper for Biology. I think I let the install run overnight that Friday and jumped online a few days later.

Gearbox might have confirmed that the HEK wouldn't have been a patch on 3/15. I remember a lot of rumbling from them around January-April that the whole project might be scrapped so they could work on Brothers in Arms. The entire release was pretty sudden--I think they changed their story from "probably going to be canceled" to "standalone multiplayer-only game" about a week or two before the release.

Either way, it was released on May 5.

Says my client is newer than the server when I try to join. Switched to 1.07 and said the same thing. At 1.00, it says it's older.

EDIT: And now it says my CD key is invalid when joining.
