How do i add the sky to my bsp? I have only seen it done on box bsps.

Just... read the official tutorial. It shows you how to add sky. It doesn't matter if it's a box map or more complex map, you still gotta do the same thing. Edited by altis94 on Feb 1, 2014 at 03:29 PM

create a box around the map, delete the bottom faces then connect the exposed edges to the open edges of your bsp kinda like i did here, you basically want to seal your bsp away from open air. the sky doesn't have to be a box either. as far as i can tell halo just makes those parts invisible and you can then see the sky through it.

It looks like you took the verts from teh bottom and merged them with the edges of the bsps XD (I decided to just edit this back XD) Edited by MEGASEAN2812 on Feb 1, 2014 at 04:06 PM

no, i made faces between the edges of the box and the edges of the bsp creating a seal, since no one will see that part of the map so it doesn't have to be pretty. just has to follow halos rules. Edited by killzone64 on Feb 1, 2014 at 04:04 PM
