I am preety sure it's something extremely stupid to ask but I have no idea on how to fix this... So, the box I converted to an editable mesh and then into a rock, turns out to be my collision model :O How am I suposed to fix this?

I don't seem to understand whats wrong. You are able to use the original model as a collision model if you know how to model to halos standards properly. And in the .scenery or .anything file you can simply remove the collision model entry. Or do you have your .jma file in the wrong folder?

No no no... I can't really explain this... Look, the rock I have created has the collision model of the box I created with in gmax. More simple, my colision has the shape of a box instead of a rock.

So your collision model is boxy ingame but not in gmax?
How so? Does shooting it shoot the rock? If so, then your collision is fine. If you stand on it and seem to be floating, that's just Halo

To be honest, I have never really tested it in game. In sapien though, when I get close to it, it dissapears, which means the colission is wrong. Right?

When you saved the rock model as a collision did you save in the physics folder as a collision model? Then run the tool collision-geometry etc command to build it, and then add that collision model in the collision path of the scenery model for the rock? Then in the scenery tag did you add a choice in the render bounding radius? if not start with 10. Edited by ally on Jan 26, 2014 at 08:09 AM
