Hey everyone,
I'm sure everyone has seen all the CryEngine 3 children attack us, Halo Custom Edition, and more importantly Dennis because he is in a tough situation. Due to all the negativity, I decided to start a positive thread to show appreciation for this community, the game, Dennis, and all of you who create great content for this old game.
If you love this game, show your appreciation!

I already showed my appreciation translating more than 20 tutorials from English to Spanish since 2010 when there were no coding, moding or any tutorials in Spanish concerning halo or Game modding. I also did some models and CS exports. Did videos for weapon, sceneary and bsp modeling. Helped Hispanics all over the site. Not to mention I was making a Greek Theme map, but due to all the nonsense concerning Cry Engine 3 and my heart been broken and shattered to pieces I will not continue it. ^^ Yeah. That's my appreciation video series thing for this game. Despite this community being "dead" or "dying" CE3 2013 was the biggest year for submissions and views. Go figure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_gR5sE5dI0

Halo CE is pretty fun, when I left here for a few years or however long it was I messed around with Source, Cryengine, and Unity, and came back.

Seriously though, why even bother commenting on those Sob Engine threads? Kids like to be attention whores so someone could do their work for them. Halo : Custom Edition FTW, hell its even the second FPS game I've played since CS 1.3. Ignorance is bliss my fellow CE modders.

I've left Halo CE, moving onto bigger projects, and better engines. I'm still extremely grateful to my experience here on the Blam! engine, as it taught me I skills I'd never have learned if I went straight to CryEngine.

Halo CE got me into two epic communities, and I thoroughly enjoyed modding the crud out of it, despite never using a modelling program.

I found out about Halo: Custom Edition from a friend 5 years ago, when I was in grade 5, every Wednesday, we would host a server that just our friend group would join. We began playing custom maps we would get from Halomaps.org, the quirky maps like Hillbilly Mudbog and SuperToyGulch were the most fun.
About a year later I found the official HEK tutorial resource and experimented with Gmax, mostly. I just figured everything out, how to invert a box, convert it to editable mesh, make really pointy hills by pulling up the verts. It was all good fun, apart from the fact the Chimp can never get a sealed model in-game. :\
So another year later ICG Super, from here, I met at high school and showed me these forums and got me started properly. Now I occasionally look back at my first models still in my "Gmax/scenes/" folder, in aw at the crappyness of my modeling skills back then.
SeanTheLawn then inspired me to learn BSL scripting, I used to read scripts and decipher them to figure out how they worked, soon teaching myself how to script jetpacks and vehicle boarding (seen on my Youtube channel).
Now, in year 10, I am part of NMT, working on a full campaign (Nyx), going for work experience; My appreciation to this game and engine has been phenomenally preternatural.
Thank you Bungie/Gearbox/ICG Super/Alex/SeanTheLawn/other people and things!!!!!!
ILYA!
