Jaz Joined: Mar 21, 2010 [Insert sarcastic comment here]	Posted: Dec 13, 2013 06:20 PM Msg. 1 of 13 Just wondering what the legal rights are for redistributing the Halo CE installer, as somebody(mootjuh) has uploaded it, along with HEK, Open Sauce and Mystic to Nexusmods.(probably without permission) http://www.nexusmods.com/halo/mods/4/? In fact, I'd be surprised if they even do anything if a CD key were to be bundled with a map release. You use to be able to install the game with a CD key of all 0's.. lol. QQ more, I bought 2 copies back in 2007 when they were 20 bucks. It's a great game and worth the money.

There is the stipulation of requiring a CD key from a purchase of Halo: Combat Evolved, as you said, but that does not mean Custom Edition costs money. Halo: Combat Evolved has the stipulation of requiring a computer, but that doesn't mean Combat Evolved costs $330.

Just like people don't have to own a cow to have milk. You don't seem to understand what free is. You don't have to own a copy of Halo PC to own Halo CE. It's a free download on this site. You might not be able to play it, but you'd still have it. Because it's free.
