sometimes i miss the chaos occasionally

i am working on a complete halo 3 tagset with all the scenery, vehicles, weapons, characters etc. and i was wondering, if i set a marker on a weapons or vehicle could i use that marker as a camera to display within a shader? and could i use opensauce post processing on that specific camera? what i'm going for is something like the halo 3 sniper scope? or the prowler and chopper screens.

As far as I know... no. I've seen people accidentally re render the screen in a corner, but not on a shader and it rendered the fp weapons as well.

hmm this appears to be a question for kirby, he seems to make impossible stuff happen but i think i might have hit the limit here. could be a good idea for the 12D engine.

There is nothing at this time that currently does what you're requesting. A post process should be able to do it, however I do not have proper experience with those.

Do you want the data from H2V's vertex shading system? I can grab it out of the tag in text format (I have it open right now)

thanks Kirby but that might just be wasted on me as i don have enough of an understanding of coding in order to get it working. but send it anyways, ill take a look and see if i can interpret teh stuff.
