Hey,
Basically I need a certain .effect tag to play whenever my flashlight is active and not play when it is turned off. I am almost certain I have done basically this same thing in the past, but I can't seem to make it work now.
I tried to add the effect under attachments and control it with a function scaled by "integrated light" but it does not work. Any ideas? Is there something I could have forgotten?
Thanks

Have you looked at the default cyborg tags? Seeing as how function blocks is EXACTLY how the flashlight runs. Really, just duplicate that, place your effect in instead of the .light, and poof, done. Also, Assault rifle... Marine flashlight stuff, exactly how it functions. There are plenty of existing tags that serve as an example to this.
