They most likely do, but most of them are really short and have little echo or falloff so it's hard to notice. I just tested it with the stock sniper rifle sound at a higher rate of fire and it did cut off. Setting the sound type as a game event didn't work.

I think tool only accepts WAV(as PCM) files, but tool will compress to the type you want
AFAIK, wav is for testing sounds(there aren't any stock sounds compressed as WAV) music and weapons fire is usually ogg. and I've seen some detail sounds using xbox ADPCM.
I think the only way you're going to get xbox sounds into halo through tool is if you had XP or used windows XP mode or virtual machine Edited by OrangeJuice on May 23, 2013 at 11:45 AM
