I have just learned how to attach a base to my 3d map model in 3ds, but when i compile the map, it all ways finds multiple triangles that can not "update". ive tried everything to fix this, but i am out of ideas. i would kindly ask for some guidance toward a solution.

Have you imported the .wrl? If not, import the file "mapnamehere.wrl" in your halo ce root directory. Then look at the error geometry and fix the issues.

Does 3ds max 2012 require a add on for the .wrl?, because i cant find it in my root directory
looked for a add on for 3ds max, i might have missed a step in the map making progress, i cant seem to find which one, anyone got any ideas? Edited by Shawn on Apr 21, 2013 at 10:15 PM

Click file then import choose WRL WRZ at the bottom and find your wrl in your Halo CE Root un tick all the boxes on import. It will show you the faces you need to fix. Edited by jackrabbit on Apr 22, 2013 at 02:57 AM
