I'm going to give my two cents here to those who might want some insight on what trolls are, their age, and motivation;

Unlike how I prefer to do things, the parents of this day and age do not monitor what their kids do on the computer, which is why Halo Maps is loaded with these trolls.

Despite their spelling and grammar, they are merely children (adolescent and pre-teen alike) having fun gaining reactions out of those who pay attention. Unlike my preferred policies, most other parents of today fail to understand the scale of the trouble they cause, which is why they are on here.

Though these trolls seem to have mental capability, be rational and coherent in their posts---they're not "people" like you believe. Don't mistake it for an attempt at intelligent conversations, they want attention, they want to have fun.

Halo got boring for them, as did the other video games and any other solitary activities performed. So they come here to pester the map makers and motivate them to give up to gain the sadistic pleasure they desire. It's all for fun.

So basically, the trolling you've experienced is children bothering you, nothing more. The prize they seek is the same as it would be if they egged your house, to annoy you.

What am I trying to say?

Simple: Don't let some idiot teenager (who lives miles away) get to you. Kids are generally stupid, and actually know little of what they are talking about most of the time.

Their words are meaningless, don't let them stop you from map making.

Being a parent isn't as easy as the younger generations (20's or possibly below) make it out to be. I can do it with ease, and monitoring what your kids do isn't quite as difficult as they think it is.

In fact, even if they complain that their kids delete the internet history of where they visited on the web, somebody could use a program to restore deleted data and scroll through that anyway.

But you, and maybe a few others understood what I mean. Kids shouldn't be allowed to use the internet without filters that make it so they can't go on sites like this. They're simply too cruel to be trusted.

In fact, I've already seen a few users (that won't be labeled here) on this forum who blatantly display their lack of capability to discover productive activity. Instead of making Halo CE maps, they make s***-storms.

I would say to my other adult peers; NEVER, under ANY circumstances, let your kids on the internet to do anything aside from looking up homework information. Force them to have a life instead.

I didn't even know that trolling was a problem.

Me and my wife are considering starting a family, and I sure as hell will take your advice, Megatron!

Remember when trolls used to hide under bridges and give riddles to people? Whatever happened to that?

Like all officialquiz ads, it's heavily photoshopped. I took a stencil and made my own via Gimp-edit.

Not the women on the Victoria's Secret ads, those are totally real, I mean I've been striving to look like them but its hard when you are a male teenager :(

That was before people started calling animal control on them. Now they hide behind Starbucks at night with their iPhones and give riddles to people on the internet via unintelligible diatribes over things that are on the epic level of senseless trivialities.

And the funny part is that even when these attacks are written coherently, they're still equally stupid.
