This may seem like a odd question, but I am wondering if anyone (maybe even Ghost) has gone and converted the Halo CE Animation importer from 3ds Max to Maya. This may seem dumb, but if you work or even start working in Maya then you would know that its workflow is very fast and comfortable. Not only that but it feels more GUI Friendly then 3ds max. It took me about 1-2 years to get the hang of 3ds max and how most of it works. But I was able to learn Maya in less then half a year (mainly the process of navigation, modeling and some other most advanced features). The hardest thing to fully grasp is has scripting work. I never really got into the scripting process of 3ds Max and so I don't fully understand the Syntax differences between the two programs, which means I am unsure how to properly convert (if possible) Ghosts Animation Exporter from 3ds Max over to Maya.
Main point of all this is...does anyone happen to know of a Maya compatible Halo CE Animation importer? If they do then that would be awesome.
If anyone knows let me know.
Thanks
