No matter what custom map I download, the icons always get messed up and I don't want to go through the hasle of editing every single one's bitmaps.
Is there some way to change the string so the actual weapon name is displayed instead of the icon, with that applying for EVERY map? Like editing something in the Halo engine files? Thanks in advance. |

I'm pretty sure the messed up icons has to do with the individual map make not taking the time to match the strings, or it could be the weapon interface. You've probably been playing a bunch of broken maps, and if you want to fix it, you'd have to edit every single map you want to play.
