In Zteam's animation file for their biped - the one with the halo 3 movements - i figured out the labels to get the warthog and ghost entry and exit animations going, but i don't know the scorpion, mongoose and hornet labels. What are they, so I may use them?
How do you (if you can) edit the FOV for individual weapons (or at least the postioning of it in front of the camera)? I tried to do the 'use F7 thing' and changing a few, because sections of the fp arms were showing up, like the shoulder and I wanted it cut out, but that didn't really work, as changing some weapons reset or interfered with other weapons i just fixed, and so forth.

Altheros was the biggest troll in history. His profile was deleted, and no one really likes talking about him.

1. The labels reference from the animation tag data to the vehicle seat label in the vehicle tag.
If I remember correctly, the halo 3 animations use completely different labels then the default vehicle tags.
The scorpion information in the animation tag is scorpion-d, while the seat label in the vehicle tag is scorpion-driver. You can change the unit label in the animation tag to scorpion-driver, or the other way around.
I dont know what tags you are using for the hornet and mongoose. The halo 3 animation file references them as mongoose-d and hornet-d. Make sure you have your unit set to one of those, and change the one in the vehicle tag to read the same as the animation tag. (should be in the vehicle seats category)
2. You can't as far as I know, bipeds offer a fov field but I'm unsure if that works either. You'd have to bring them into max and reanimate them.

Quote: --- Original message by: Stevedoggen And I'm sure I'm gonna regret asking, but: I was late to the Halo CE map making scene, so I don't really know about anything that went on beforehand but why exactly does everyone hate Altheros? Did he/she do something? I see comments ripping into him/her all the time, but have no context for reference... The more experienced can answer your questions but as for the Altheros thing... Lets just say it's nicer to forget and move on.
