Well a friend of mine is having the following problems
- The main menu is broken
- The background has weird colors
- Some of the words dont appear
- The mouse arrow doesn't show up
She says this happened after she installed HAC2 and tried moving all her maps from the maps directory in game files to the map derictory in the HAC2 files. But when she moved them back nothing worked anymore. P.S. Shes using windows 7

Well she told me (before logging offline on xfire) that she uninstalled HAC2 and halo and reinstalled halo but it didn't work.

That same thing happens when you run halo with a GPU that can't run transforms & lighting

could you get her to post a screenshot? It seems similar to a problem I had before, but not with HAC2 though

It was a corrupt bitmap file so the only way for her to start halo is through the setup.exe file
