Hey guys,

All the models i've made are in 3ds max 13 since my max 10 broke, and I like to use max 8 for modeling for CE.

I was wondering what exporter (.obj, .3ds, etc.) was the best, and causes less errors / no errors.

Thanks in advanced!

.OBJ will do fine.

.FBX is so much better for transferring between Max versions though.

You can use deep exploration to get .max to go back versions.
For an export, i would say that collada would be the best. (you need to use the 32bit (x86) installer to find max 8 and the 64bit installer for max 2010 and 2013.
