I do realize that alot of work went into Adjutant and its compatibility with Reach (Big Thanks and KUDOS to those who worked on that!), but I would just like to inquire politely as to the possibility to increase compatibility to Halo 4. I've noticed that the dlc maps from the last update have already been uploaded to the source page, which is what peaked my interest on the matter.

Thanks for the hard work and effort, yo!

No need for a new thread for this, could've just posted it onto the Adjutant thread.
Anyways, as I've said before, 343I wouldn't like stuff being available this early, and tag structures have changed quite a bit since Reach, so it's not easy to implement without code rewrites.

I don't see it happening because

1. Gravemind doesn't have any code to use as an example for how to do h4.
2. He's busy rewriting his app since he recieved a copy of a leaked application's source code, (so said code can be incorporated)
3. It' be very foolish to piss off MS ripping content from their brand new flagship game, and would bring him unwanted attention

That's pretty much true, except for 1. Halo 4 uses a modified Reach engine, so all the existing code is fine, you just need to adjust it to work with the new tag structures.

Yep. Play and zone tags, which are used mainly for locating raw data, have changed quite a bit, so it's pretty difficult.

I have been able to create new tag structure definitions in my tools to use the new tags, but it's hardly a simple process, and it takes a lot of time.

I guess we can wait one year and then it'll be fine, Masterz is right we don't need that unneeded attention

the banshee and ghost were actually new models, they just looked like the reach versions.

Me rewriting the app has nothing to do with the leaked code. It's actually mainly to make it more my own rather than continuing to build on top of Xenon and Anthony's old code from Alteration (I believe Sinow explained this to you recently). In fact, the leaked code had nothing particularly useful in it because by the time it was sent to me I had already long completed the extra bitmap formats and Reach models (which I can't possibly have copied since there was nowhere I could have copied it from at the time). If you want to discuss this, PM me.

As for Halo4 support, as I stated in the Adjutant thread, it's not coming.
