UPDATEPublic beta V1.8 will be downloadable soon. BSP and HUD havent been changed yet. What was changed: Vehicles. Added scorpion, gauss and chaingun warthog. All vehicle's shaders have been modified. Mongoose's and Falcon's physics have been edited. Credit for warthogs goes to Bourrin. Weapons. Added spartan laser, assault rifle was replaced with reach one. Some weapons have minor modifications. Credit for spartan laser goes to Bourrin. Biped. Biped has been changed to epic Bourrin's reach spartan. Mines. Mines were changed to halo 3 ones. Credit goes to Grunt Eater. Detail Objects. Added 350 000 detail objects all over the map. And some other minor changes and fixes. If anyone has any ideas how to make mines work better, please message me. Oh pics! Yeah, I tried it on some doors when working on a SP map. The old collision stayed the same. That was on a device machine though. Who knows?

Either way, if the tree is scaled up and a slightly smaller collision box gives no issues, it's worth using.

I joined; love the updates, especially the new Falcon physics (thank you)! :D (Now, if only the bullet counters for the BR and AR could be changed.. I guess that'll be changed in the final release?) The only problem I noticed is that the grass details near the crashed Albatross were floating above the ground. Last time I checked, grass doesn't float. P: EDIT -there were more places like this. This floating patch is on the hills right outside Blue Base, towards the Albatross with the tank (and the sniper hand rigging should be changed... The left thumb's kinda bent..) EDIT 2 -found another patch of floating grass, this time in a hill towards the Blue side from the Gauss Albatross. I'm pretty sure this is the last patch. For the sake of being complete, just posting my thoughts on some balance issues: - The Falcon's armor should be improved so it can't so easily be taken down by small-arms fire, currently people can just mow you down when you fly over them, even with just the battle rifle. - The Scorption could do with a similar upgrade, aside from that I would use the single player variant that has the closed canopy. Else again you can just very easily be shot out from very large distances. Along with this, I really recommend placing more higher, wavy hills + big scenery rocks and trees for cover in the next update. It's important towards testing the balance and gameplay. - I think the Gauss sniper is a bit overpowered, although super fun to use. I'd consider increasing its respawn time significantly, as well as perhaps moving it outside of the main bases. Perhaps the spartan laser could be replaced with 1 Gauss rifle.

Soo.. map still cant be downoaded with hac2 :(
About floating grass, I had to readd all the grass after it disapeared by changing weather pallette and i didnt really have time to fix all the floating grass errors. If you find more of them, please post again showing a place where it is.
Im still not sure what i will do with the falcon. For scorpion i had an idea of making it controllable by 2 people: driver and gunner and make it have more armor. Weapon spawns are going to be changed after i make some new scenery. HUD is also going to be changed after i deal with bsp and other stuff.
And if you are columbian/mexican, please dont use my tags for making more blood gulch mods. There were already couple of them telling me how they will rip these tags to use them in blood gulch and yoyorast island mods -.-

The BR is likely to be changed to original one with 3 bullet burst. Not sure if that will fix the issue tho.

I just reinstalled halo,turns out os3.1 removed about 20 maps some that were not replaceable because they were old builds of my test maps.its all good now though I have 3.1 installed fine now but I suggest that you always backup your maps folder before installing cause this also happened to one of my friends.

I just hate maps that use stupid, dangerous characters in the filename like %,^,&,*,{,or [. It's annoying and makes me think that a simple map installation could corrupt my files or something like that.

Just played on this map, and I have to say it looks great. The actual map looks reminds me of DayZ style maps. The falcon is smooth, and the weapons look good. (The AR could use a better recticule though). Looking forward to see how this map goes.
