Is it possible, with our without Open Sauce to set the camera to be placed in the driver seat for a first person driving style? It'd be quite pointless on any vehicle but the Warthog lol, but I just want to know if it's possible to drive the Warthog, racing style :D

I know that using Sightjacker on someone who is comandeering a hog sets the camera between the front wheels, perhaps there is a way to mvoe the position of this camera?

I think you could change it without OS,but you can't do it in realtime.

Unticking 3rd person on enter won't do anything. Instead, simply move the 3rd person marker to where the 1st person should be. it'll work flawless. Or uncheck "3rd person camera". This last option doesn't Always work 100% though.

WOW those were quick replies...but sweet! Nice to know I can do this as well as Halo 3, I have no experience whatsoever about modding Halo, so for me, to hell with all the tag editing and stuff lol, but yeah I just wanted to see if it was possible, thanks!

EDIT: What is unchecking 3rd person camera supposed to do anyway, if it doesn't seem to do anything? O.o

And is there any way to get rid of the camera resetting its position as you drive? E.g. when you're driving the tank, if you're trying to hit an elevated target while trying not to get hit, it becomes really cumbersome having to constantly move your mouse up while aiming

Do it during gameplay without going through the process of editing with HEK.

I'm pretty sure Area 53 had FP Warthogs if I remember correctly

Unchecking 3rd person camera makes it go into first person. Unchecking 3rd person on enter doesn't do anything. It's for the passenger seat, where you sit first person, but you enter and it zooms out and shows you getting in then goes back to first person. If you uncheck that box then it just loads you into the vehicle and never leaves first person.

Ahhh right, thanks grunt eater. That actually reminds me of hugeass, the passenger got in third-person, but once he/she sat down, it went into first person
