So i stumbled into these weapons:

Now i have a problem of getting them to 3ds max, so i could but them to good use.
anyway, is someone already beaten me on this...?
I would be very, very, grateful for these models in 3ds format!!

Shaders look okay, but the gun position is really really bad. I can tell you're using the old BR animations, just import the BR model with nodes and then the DMR without nodes, move the DMR into the space of the BR and link the nodes after deleting the BR. It really shouldn't look this bad.

Halo reach weapons are already extractable, try using adjudant.

All the stuff in that screenshot has those weird colored pixels on them.

That's because for some reason, color keyed compressed bitmap formats get screwy when it comes to the darker areas. Why? I don't know. I use 16 or 32 bit compression to fix it. Also why is your DMR scope reflecting green in all of your DMR images?

Delete your alpha channel and then compress as color key transparency. Its because the alpha is merged with the diffuse.

ahhh thats why those are showing up. will do. thanks.

oh and about the dmr origins i plan to make custom animations soon but that has to wait untill i finish working on the bsp for takedown

and the reason the scope is green in all the photos is because i have been tinkering around with getting the scope to look proper.

hmm, yees, ripping.
Aswell i would do it, the problem is getting the map files, anyone know a good source?
My friend has halo reach, but i was told that the effort to get the map files of it were too big.
