Ive been playing Halo CE for a few days with no problems. Until now, after landing and fighting most of the way through "B40 beta", into the canyon and aquiring a scorpion the map suddenly has no enemy in it and at the end of the canyon I run into a grey screen.
I have scanned the forum but could not find what I needed. Could someone help me out?
Thanks

that's a glitch I know, it sucks :\

there is no way around it, you're just going to have to find a stable version of b40

Is this CMT SPv2's B40? That never got finished (They're doing SPv3 now though). That map is not stable and I think the most stable version has been lost already

A workaround for this that I faintly remember discovering a long time ago is: when all your marines go past the locked door just before that canyon where there are no enemies around, try to type switch_bsp 1 or some other number like 0 or 2. That'll get rid of the additional areas that CMT left unfinished and you shouldn't get the grey box thing.

yeah, but you have to find the right bsp, then use debug_camera save/load and cheat_teleport_to_camera

also, this means you can never finish the mission, as it continues to say "transition to X", you never hit the checkpoint, so you technically never finished it.

Thanks for the info guys. Now that I know its not finished, how do I get past it? Delete the file all together? I dont know anything about how the system works and just managed to download and get it going with your great utube vid. All help is appreciated.
