Hey, I have a structure I'm trying to compile but I can't fix errors because the wrl file is 10,500 KB and 3ds max lags behind to a point where I can't edit anything. Is there any way I can import only a bit of the wrl at a time or is there another solution to this?

Try fixing your errors without wrl. If there are so many i think you could find them.

Hit F3 to hide the textures, go to select by name button and open 1st error and zoom in on it then hit F3 to see everything properly.

kudos to ODST_Nick for showing me this image a few months ago:  Basically, there are 3 or more faces that are connecting to a single edge somewhere in the map, you need to find them and fix it Edited by nihao123456ftw on Dec 18, 2012 at 06:00 PM

You can also select all your faces and use the STL modifier. it's not perfect but it will highlight some of your errors.
