My own simple map to test my new computer. The AI normally don't spawn infinity. I set it to 5 maximum and minimum along with the difficulties. stock marines. but the AI infinity spawn with no cap once i type in the script ai_follow_target_players in dev mode. just me on the map no one else on the score board. its a simple AI map.
odd.
maybe its the windows 8?

I've made simple AI maps before (thats MP). I've made AI following me before (in a SP map). putting them together (in a MP map) doesn't seem to work.
wait. just realized something. probably the respawn enabled thing. i'll try scripting respawn instead of checking that box. Edited by spiral on Nov 21, 2012 at 12:40 PM
yeah that was the problem. well i learn something new today, ai_follow_target_players and respawn enabled checked don't like each other (well at least in a MP map). Edited by spiral on Nov 21, 2012 at 01:00 PM

I think you can disable auto respawn and create the AI's using only the "ai_place" function.
