Use power of two dimensions bitmap. that means it has to be 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, 128x128, 512x512, 1024x1024 and so on. It can also be 512x128 etc. Also you do not have to replace the exact bitmap. it would be better if you make new one and just edit shader_model in guerilla so it uses this bitmap.

go to assault rifle/fp/shaders or bitmaps folder.

That will take a while. also why... why did you have to upload another variant of BG? there are already hundreads of them and nobody plays them.
