Possible? I've looked for tutorials and i've come up with nothing. I'm pretty sure that this is possible since a fussion coil works. You shoot it and it explodes, meaning that scenery can change forms, but maybe instead of an explosion, it could spawn debris from something. I don't really know where to start

I think its in the collision geometry. add effect on object destroyed which will spawn another scenery, garbage or whatever you want. play with some settings and see what happens.

hmm. im in the collision_model of the first not damaged piece of scenery ( I made a broken one) but i don't know how to tell it to change the scenery to the damaged one. i was thinking that the "body" section might work, but it doesn't do anything. i also tried to create a amage effect, but it didnt seem to work with actualy scenery and models.

try looking at banshee or ghost collision models. They are destructible in campaing.

hmm. i looked around in the collision files for them, but I couldn't figure out what was telling them to spawn or change the model when they got destroyed. I found a file that someone hosted that was a cliff face, that when an explosion hit it, it should have broken to allow a player to walk through (a pretty cool idea). He also gave the data files, which i didn't have for the ghost. He actually made 4 jms files that were :models ~damaged, cliff :physics ~damaged, collision_model. I loaded his model, but if i shot it directly, it wouldn't blow up, unless i shot beside it. so i moved the frame to be inside the object. when i reloaded all of the jms files and compiled them, it worked! If the frame is inside the object, the entire of its mass will interact with its damaged buddy file. I then apllied this method to my scenery, and it works great! But I still cant find how to get it to spawn another object. I have a separate piece in the file, but i want to add physics to it, so when it explodes, a piece of it falls off, and stays where it lands. I've looked at scenery with physics tutoirals, but they dont seem to work.
how can i do that? and thanks for putting me on the right path LOL!

Use a effect when it gets damaged or destroyed. that effect should create a garbage. garbage has physics like weapon, but it works something like derbis particle. so its like 3d particle.
