Deleting a file is EXTREMELY different than messing with the electronics which will clearly break the component and not logical...

This is not aimed at anyone but general rant. Quote: --- Original message by: SilentJacket well, it is the internet, and I've seen people try to delete system 32 before.... You know I have seen this phrase thrown about before "well, it is the internet" and it annoys me every single time. The Internet is a communications medium not some mythical and separate universe where people are different or the rules of conduct suddenly go away. The "internet" is very much the real and physical world as it is becoming tightly entwined in our every day lives. It is a communications medium and a method of exchanging ideas. When people act out "on the internet" at a distance it is a clearer indication of their character than if they were in the room with you; especially if they might never say those things in person. It is an indication of character that the perception of anonymity allows them to say things they normally wouldn't in person. It is not that they are a separate distinct person in front of the computer than they are standing in the street corner but the same person who has shown you more of their personality. Anonymity can be advantageous and necessary in totalitarian or dangerous situations but in civil discourse it only exposes people for what they are. Ask Michael Brutsch whether actions “on the Internet” have consequences in the "real world".

No such tool exists yet. Only a Halo 3 extraction tool but that's been out for a long time.
also, the "delete system 32" joke stopped being funny a long time ago
wait a minute, it was never funny.
