Hello, I know how to add maps, but how how do you add skins and vehicles to Halo CE? I watched a Youtube video earlier, and it said to put the skins in a 'Skins' folder (funnily enough). It appears however I do not have a 'skins' folder...

And I am clueless about vehicles, and I apologise if I have posted in the wrong section :)

Skins aren't like something you download and put in like in modern games today. It's a replacement file for whatever bitmap is used in the shader. There is no such thing as a skins folder in Halo.

Basically, unless you have something like texmod in which case my mind goes ???????, maps have to be compiled anew for the bitmap or skin to be applied. Also, a bitmap that is made for a different unwrap or different model entirely will not work because that is not what the model was unwrapped to. there is nothing to recognize that the door needs to be unwrapped to the door on the new bitmap if the door part of the texture is put somewhere else on the texture that is different from the original texture.

Hopefully you understanding what I am talking about as far as "unwrap". If not, google or maybe someone is better at explaining basics than me.
