I want to make Guilty Spark shoot laser beams but it won't work. How do you make a weapon for the monitor? (It works with Sentinels,though.)

Huh,343 GS didn't have a weapon when I bump possessed him. Do I need to do something else?Maybe copy some stuff from the Sentinel?

What your probably going to have to end up doing is making a seperate .weapon tag that is attached at his eyelight marker and acts similar to the sentinel.

I have never had much experience with setting it all up, I would open up the sentinel tag and see how its all set up there. You may learn a thing or two in the process.

Well,the weapon tag doesn't actually have any markers connected to the Sentinel,as far as I tell. 90% of all the fields are empty or have some kind of placeholder value like 0. Edited by Dumb AI on Oct 7, 2012 at 06:03 PM

Create a primary trigger marker, modify the animations so that the monitor will be able to wield the actual weapon ( which is usually listed as an AR ), then add the necessary animations for firing and all that good stuff.

Hm...I've used a monitor as a player biped before and when I loaded the map (it was SP),I could actually hold weapons and fire them.

I have a monitor that shoots the sentinel beam that I made a few months back. I think all I did was give him the sentinel beam and copy the stuff from the sentinel.
