To add custom weapons you will need to create new item collection file in guerilla and link it to the weapon you want. then set its weight to like 100. then in sapien go to netgame equipment and choose that item collection tag you just made.

For the vehicles you will need to add the vehicles you want in sapien in section vehicles. You must set the flags with the gametypes so those vehicles would spawn in those gametypes. Then you will have to add exactly same vehicles in globals.globals with guerilla. It will be in section vehicles. (note that you can have up to 6 vehicles unless you use scripts)

just learn to use 3ds max itself, learn to model with it. im sure there are thousands of tutorials on youtube.

And for indoor levels you must have at least a little bit of sky or use lights. else map will be all black.

you know when you create you're map in gmax or 3dsmax?

and link it to the frame...

i've added a couple bridges as a test, so does that mean i have to link the bridges with the frame too?

or can i leave it since the bridges are inside the map which inturn is linked to the frame????

Everything attached to frame will be exported to halo, everything else will be ignored. Its best if all map is just one mesh.

Map also have to be seamless or else it will fail compiling.

okay thanx

also how do you run the 3rd person camera thing?

i've tried (camera_mode_save)

but nothing happens

i've tried this in both normal and console mode

you will need devmode for that. When you are ingame press console and write commands:
debug_camera_save (saves camera position)
debug_camera_load (moves the camera to saved position)
Then use mmb+wasd to move around. If you want to increase speed, hold mmb and turn it up.
When you want to get back to 1st person camera, enter this in console:
camera_control 0

For 3ds max press right click on model>object properties>check backface cull.

And i dont understand what is your console problem. Have you added -console to the shortcut? Just so you know, there is a FAQ in this website and you can find a lot of stuff you want there...

I dont know why console doesnt work, here is how mine is: "D:\halo ce\haloce.exe" -console -screenshot

I dont think captured textures will be seamless and fit ingame well, but if you want, then you will have to make it "power of two dimensions". Resolution must contain 2, 4, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024 etc. For example 1024x256, 128x128 64x2048.

i already gave you a link in previous post.

And for the texture you have to make a shader enviroment that has exactly same name as you called it in 3ds max. Else you will have error compiling map in tool.

you have open edges (=holes) on your map, and halo does not like that. you must seal those holes. you can import [map name here].wrl to gmax / 3ds max, (it is in your Halo Custom Edition dir), it shows where your map has holes.

Try selecting all verticies and welding them at a value of 0.01
re-export and compile.

A lot of highlighted faces mean you have a lot of errors. Are you sure you converted to editable mesh?

Xfire is a program for chatting, like skype or so. It also has in game chatting and lets you take screenshots and videos.
