Do you mean the screen distortion or particle distortion?

If you mean particle distortion,Id like to see that Im not sure if particle distortion is possible even with os.If it is I'm gonna have to get started on that :P

I know CAD had shown particle distortion for a gravity hammer a while back, I'm not sure if he used OS for anything though.

Choking Victim says it was similar to how the distortion worked for his bubble shield (don't ask me how that works, I've no idea), and the tricky part was just getting it to spawn in the effect. It's not a bitmap though.

They "most likely" used a mesh for theres with a shader effect like the active camo. It's not as good as using it like a particle in halo 2 and up.

You can get a distortion effect by creating a biped with a built in gunner (an actor_varient tag) that has active camo. The biped in the actor_variant tag has the model of whatever you want distorted.

Do you mind posting Pics of the setup in Guerilla? I have tried using this method with scenery, garbage, etc...
It never seems to work!

If you could, I'd appreciate it!

Wow, Thank you for doing that!

I will try it out, hopefully I can get something working!

Edit:
I had my old attempt setup exactly like that. Still no go.
Basically, I am trying to place a biped as scenery in Sapien. Whenever I try to place the object, I get an "out of objects error".

I think my issue is with the .model_animations. My scenery doesn't animate, but the biped requires an animation tag.

As far as what files I have, they are as follows-
-Main biped that has an added seat, with a built in gunner.
-Built-in Gunner references an actor_variant that references a second biped to be camo'd. Super Camo checked.

Make sure you have the right node checksum and make sure your animations have the label "stand" as bipeds require this label.

Don't forget that when you repeatedly use this method in MP it really screws things up, that's why I removed it from the H3 hammer for MP. Spawns random ghost bipeds everywhere (which don't sync) and somehow disabled weapon pickups in my beta test with others.
