i'm trying to rebuild my old tagset(wayyy back since CMT 1st came out) piece by piece. problem is, i can only open scenarios for a few seconds then BLAM! this shows up on debug.txt any solutions?

I believe that means that in the sprite, there are like 4 images in the sequence (0,1,2,3) and you have it set to like 4. I believe the value is called "sequence index" or something similar, although I don't think it's related to your exception problem.
E: the only things I know that use parent/child keywords are child scenarios and collision geometry (ie. "takes body damage for children" "parent never takes body damage")

The last sentence says you are using multiple processors. Set sapien/ahobo to use only 1 processor/ set affinity to 1 or 0

the hud problem is always like that but it doesnt cause problems in game.
