Can somebody please tell me how to fix this annoying problem with the geometry?! I compiled everything fine with tool, no "toolio" "toolpro" or any tool. Tool says that everything is fine... the map has portals, but it still having this problem.

80,000 polys. I know its too big, but why does this happen?! I mean, my computer can run Battlefield 3 without problem and other games with high requirments.

What it is,is that your map isn't portaled.Or if so not properly.

When the camera looks straight out it tries to render all the triangles or polys that make up your map.

Portals come into play by helping the game only show or render certain parts of the map or clusters as it's know in HEK.

So what you need to do is portal your map,and then if you want even better performance, make some parts like inside areas another bsp that loads when a player hits a certain area of your map, typically and unseen bsp swith like hallways or tunnels.

try to compile your map again, this time without portals, sometimes portals create this problem (at least in my experience)
