A sketch I did a while back that I posted to weapons WIP that didn't receive much feedback. You can ignore the annotations if you like. They were more there just for me when I was thinking of making it myself.

How about a guitar (preferably a guitar that looks like a Gibson sg) that shoots lazers out of the top (the head)

@hobbet360 If you are really serious you can post a picture when you get the chance and it will be considered. However I really doubt we will put a guitar gun in. You might want to look at rule 3 on the main thread. We really need the weapon to match our other assets somewhat.

Yea, feel free to resubmit your drawing. You can just edit your post a replace the link with a new one.

You can submit as many entries into the contest as you like. Like I have said before, multiple submission ARE allowed.

How bout a plasma launching mag44 like its an modified and highly illegal weapon that functions like a beam weapon that has a slow rof and six shots that have a long projectile contrail like samus's beam cannon in the samus maps also it has two clips of ammo and takes 2-3 shots to kill might add pics if this idea takes flight

If you add some kind of reference image then this will become a valid entry into the contest.

The player will have the ability to place it somewhere, and pick it up again when they are done using it. The turret will shoot down anything that comes within it's range. However, it is rendered useless if flipped over ex: a grenade flipping it over.

Well I whipped up this in a few seconds (found a mag picture and added a few lights and bulb thingys) als add i could not add two more bulbs on each side of the 44 mag and maybe a scope a weak one btw

There is only 1 week remaining till the deadline. If anyone has been planning to submit a design but hasn't gotten around to it.... now is a good time to finish it up and submit.

Also, remember that there is no limit on how many entries you can have. If anyone has already submitted a design and has another idea, feel free to submit that one as well.

Napalm would result in streams of fire dripping back down onto you.

@Megaguirus: You actually wont be playing as MC in our map, we intend to have completely custom bipeds. (however, they will still be wearing helmets.)


Also, just a hint for everyone KIRBY , (not a rule, just a hint)... if you post ANYTHING anime, you lower your chances of winning the contest by roughly 1,000,000% (give or take)

thats just a little advice though.... you can submit whatever you want.

That would be fine, I am just joking around with kirby because he keeps posting absurd video clips from anime movies.

If you want to submit something in that art style, go for it. We do not care what art style you use. So long as you have a description along with a reference image (any reference image) we are happy.

(just ignore the comment about anime, it was meant for kirby)

How about the Type-7 Particle Weapon from F.E.A.R. or something similar? It instantly kills/vaporizes your opponents, however it only has 10 shots (firing in a slow semi-automatic mode) before it becomes paperweight.

Darn, didn't notice that, pictures from that game are virtually non-existant anyway so that's the best I could have done either way. The entry wasn't too serious but eh well
