I'm trying to make a multipurpose map for a new player skin I made, with the goal of only having some parts of the armor change color based on teams (like in Extinction or Coldsnap). However, whenever I make my alpha channel and save the bitmap, it doesn't save what I want as the alpha and makes a new alpha channel that's completely blank white, making what I wanted to be the alpha a fourth channel. Tool can't handle 5-channel bitmaps. For the record, the graphics software I'm using is Corel Photo-Paint X5 version 15.something.

Oh, so I gotta do the thing where I compile the bitmap twice, like with cubemaps?
Edit: It still erases my alpha and makes it blank.
