I'd simply like to be able to keep correct scales with automatic funcions when unwrapping on a wide bitmap, because it's more convenient in my case :D Pic :

Just simply go into vertice mode and rescale the parts that are distorted.

You're right, but What i did is not very good and i dont want to spread bad methods and prevent finding better ones.
Anyway, i rendered a Wireframe on a square bitmap, made a new rectangular, placed the wireframe images as i wanted on the rectangle Imported in the 3ds uv editor, and rescaled the unwrapping using the texture as reference.

Do you know how to move uvw's a complete set across? Like say the bitmap is 512x512, and the uvw is not in the center, but to the right. How can I move it perfectly left to the center?

How can I move it perfectly left to the center? No idea... I had this problem. You mean having the uv on a different tile than the middle one ?
