Ive been trying to play the game with some custom maps on a LAN network and i can't seem to be able to play with friends can someone do a minor explanation? (if you know what the problem is.) thanks much appreciated

Each computer needs a DIFFERENT CD key, aaand each needs the map that you want to play, aand each needs to be allowed through their firewalls

Yah i did get different Cd keys for each.
and they do have the same maps ill keep trying. Thanks for the info guys. |

Hmmm, are you sure you're not launching halo ce devmode? If you have a shortcut of halo CE with -console or -devmode on the target line under the properties it wont allow you to use LAN or Internet... So make sure you have one shortcut without devmode and console for multiplayer
