So in the damage_effect tag there are two options i don't quite understand.
High and Low frequency vibrate. What do these do? i'll be back with more questions when those are addressed.

Apparently public enemy number 1?

isn't that the screen shaking when you get hurt by that damage? should be; too lazy to open up a damage effect to see if there is anything else for camera in there.

I wondered the same thing, until i scrolled down and found a different section that addressed camera shake, another that addressed temporary camera impulse and another that addresses permanent camera impulse.

Another question. In the damage effect tag i set my instantaneous acceleration 4 and it send my vehicles, bipeds, weapons, ect flying. But when i set it to -4 it only affects weapons, why is this and how do i go about making it work on vehicles?

I believe the orginal question you asked may have been for controller vibration,to add to the effect of the game, and as for your second question, instantaneous acceleration is the force applied to an object,0 is no and so on.Im surprised -4 did anything,I believe weapons behave alittle differently than other objects.

So as long as it's at -4 nothing will change

...Heheh I put it at -1,000,000 just trying to test to see if i needed more force and it sent the weapons sailing through the air until they'd get caught on something like a tree and sit there twirling forevermore. Lol. But i'd really like to know how to make an effect that allows you to pull objects toward yourself.

I dont think you can,I had a feeling thats what you were trying to achieve with the negative values

Use the force applied from projectiles in the damage effect tags. Set it to negative and it will pull stuff towards you, even vehicles.

If you'd read everything you'd know that that's what i tried to do. And no, it didn't work on anything but weapons.

How odd since it worked for me. Go check kirby's gravity gun map

I don't recall it being called instantaneous acceleration however, but maybe that's because I haven't been using HEK for over a year now.

It worked for you? hmm...Maybe it's the damage type?
