might need to wait until tool finishes it's job on the model.

The "can't read toolbeta.map" line isn't even an error, it always says that. The problem is probably in the path to the model. If your typing:

tool model data\vehicles\steppinflouggen\stfn

Make sure the model is in

data\vehicles\steppinflouggen\stfn\models

You can only use .jms to compile models.

yes but sure you are supposed to export your model and save it as a .jms (you have to named it .jms)
you save the .jms then tool builds the geometry from that.

There's nothing wrong with tool. The problem is either what your typing into tool or where/how you saved the model. From your Halo CE folder, what is the exact path you saved your model to? What format are you saving the models in? And exactly what are you typing into tool?

i cant save it since i hav to use the bluestreak maxscript the path is data\vehicles\steppenflaggen\models and in tool i type in 'tool model data\vehicles\steppenflaggen\models'
tool says' C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>'
then i type 'tool model data\vehicles\steppenflaggen\models'
then half a second later it says 'Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
then it skips a line and says 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>'
it doent process or anything and the problem is with the tool model function cause i made the physics, collision geometry, and bitmaps for the vehicle using tool it just wont do the model

did you set a bounding radius, that will fix your collision problem.
seeing you said nothing much apart from a collision problem, i take it you
are able to walk through part or all of a scenery or building model.
