When ever i try to extract the scenario from a map like i used to be able to do no problem... I get this:
An Exception occured within the program, it is advised to contact a developer so this issue can be fixed. Include the generated 'error.log' file created in the main mscorlib directory and use the addresses provided in the about dialog to email the log
System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\Tags\levels\test\bloodgulch\bloodgulch.bitmap' because it is being used by another process.
But yeah... the level and halo ce ARE NOT in use.....

the error is showing the bitmap from carousel as being used by another process. which version of hek+ are using? and is your .NET framework up to date? which os are you using? try this one if your .NET is up to date. http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2289

That's weird, it worked fine on custom maps, and i finally got it to make scenario's for stock maps, but now my sapien wont launch! D: Im sure its because my hek is out of date.... ANyone know where the most recent release is? I'll load a scenario in sapien, it loads for a minute like it usually would, but then it just decides to close. Lame.

It seems that your carousel.bitmap is corrupt since sapien cannot read it. Remember to set in HEK+ to NOT OVERWRITE. Never set it to overwrite or it will corrupt tags you already have when trying to extract.
Possible fix: delete the file 'tags\levels\test\carousel\carousel.bitmap' and extract again from the map in HEK+ without overwrite.

Yeah i never have it set to overwrite, but i deleted the carousel bitmap, i dunno if its just the map, but i got sapien to work with a different map.
edit: Now when sapien opens the game window stays completely black, yet i can hear the sounds of the map... I'm about to say screw it, Im so p*ssed off, any time i try to do anything theres some damn issue. I used to be able to do all this with no problems what so ever, now i can't do anything without some sort of problem! >:/

you haven't mentioned if this is a custom map you are trying to open in sapien now. if it's a custom map you might not have edited the .scenario in guerilla to add a .sky.

Well for now im just trying to open one of the stock maps, infinity, but when i load the scenario into sapien the game window is black, but i can still hear the sounds of the map.
And i dont know how to load a custom map's scenario yet, i've tried, but sapien always closes before loading, so its probably what you said. But for now I'm just trying to load the stock map infinity into sapien.
