Hi, sorry but my sapien doesn't work so i resorted to Eschaton to complete my mod all i need is to replace the chief biped. The sad part is there are no unprotected SP maps with the bourrin's Mark V armor. If it isn't to much to ask for, can someone with a working sapien, PLEASE place the bourrin's Mark V armor into an unprotect SP map, so i can extract it with Eschaton. I will make sure to give credit to the person who is able to complete this task when the mod is complete. Thank you in advance for reading this topic.

Ignoring the obvious, he may have denied information about not knowing how to fix tags or something. I simply did the simplest thing and gave him a map :P

Because he's not using CE and doesn't have HEK.

...but then how is he going to use the tags? O_o

Eschaton allows you to use the tags inside a map file.

I'm a little shocked that hardly anyone here seems to have basic knowledge of standard HPC modding.

Same, i always thought it was the general starting point before moving into HEK but oh well.

yeah, i completely understand how to use sapien because i used it at one point. Then it crashed and never worked. So i resorted to Eschaton. The lack of knowledge about how Eschaton works is almost disturbing

Btw, does the Sapien still crash when you try to open a .scenario now?

Or use the patched sapien like I am.

you can try that version of sapien, it's called ahobo.
also if the cpu setting doesn't fix it, try deleting the sapien.config file in the haloce program files folder. then run sapien again.

Don't use Eschaton if your doing custom edition modding its for trial and combat evolved.

yeah its an anniversary trial mod and its coming out pretty well with the tags i just have to add my textures (custom) and that chief biped, and hopefully its finished then.

Also, if you open up Sapien (or ahobo) and it crashes, look into your debug.txt in your HCE directory. If you go to the bottom, there should be a paragraph with a lot of information of what could be going wrong.
