Don't worry, this is worked out in the story...

No I didn't take the time to explain why the chairs can support them! but... it should be easy to put together once you know about them

So I've been getting hate for my Spartan shaders.

Any h3 cyborg makers/shader-ers wanna help me out?

About (all) of my halo 3 cyborgs were horribly ported ingame so if you can help there and re-ingame em all that'd be great :D...

They look good in Foundry, but they look just really dull in my map. My map is all big and colorful. And for whatever reason when I installed them I couldn't get the ODST head shader to look all desaturated like the rest of the shaders D: (plus they show off a part more obvious where whoever modeled some of the spartans forgot to separate the rubber and nonrubber part)

Takedown: Bad Spartans Tags - Rip them all you want: 7/13/13 or 13/7/13 for you international folks ;)

Would like any suggestions/help with re-modeling the spartans and or re-doing the shaders (they both need to be done Dx)

Hello guys.

MatthewDratt asked me to help on improving spartans shaders. I worked on it, and now I have some screenshots to show you guys. Custom cubemap are used for the armor and the visor. I fixed the reflection properties and the colors permutations. The visor had hexagons details like in halo 4. (right clic, view image for full zize)









I can delete this post if you want MatthewDratt, I can understand if you want only you show update on your own thread ^^

The very orangegy-yellow visor seems off to me. I'll leave it as is if people think it's fine but I think Lawson's big bowl head looks almost too orange. Anyway double thanks to darksoldier

Was messing around with ODST's visor and color which is why they look tad different than darksoldier's pictures. Will revert back if it seems bad

Also what seems better:

Splitting the MAP files into 2 map files or simply cutting out the excess stuff (h3 grunt dialog, ect) so it can all fit into one map? (Anything cut wouldn't be game-changing)

The YELO file will be the complete map file all ready to play.

Aha that actually looks kinda cool.

And the BSP is DangerCanyon-Textures redone by Mangenkyo.

BUT! It is extended. So the canyon is about + a half longer outside than what it use to be

Thank you :D I will release some of that spartans except lawson with all of my shaders setup and the custom cubemaps what they use. Maybe add camo details like ice, desert, forest like your assault rifle. And why not with some of my modified actors variants. Exept I can't wait to see some progress of that awesome progress.
