This video tutorial covers the process of importing an animation from 3Ds Max into Halo, organizing your animations folder, and the process of editing the tag and scripting it to play.

It's a very brief tutorial but its also not very complicated. I made this due to request. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask in the thread, and you may also suggest any other tutorials that I can help you with, and I will do the best of my ability to show you what I know.

higuy i know there is a great section in the hek that shows how to do portals, and there is a quick tutorial on them by arkaman on you tube. even though there are them two, i still see there are always a good few people that need help with or just simply don't understand how to make them. could you do a tutorial on making them? i would honestly do it myself but all can do is record a tutorial, then i have problems trying to upload it to a hosting site, seems to be a problem i'm having with my isp that drops my internet connection before any large sized upload is complete.

I'll see what I can do, but I can't guarantee anything soon.
After Lumoria: EP2 Lodex and I will be creating one single massive tutorial for folks anyway, so if I don't make a separate one just look for it there.

BSP is required for this. If your modding a map and making the animation in a map, for example, like Bloodgulch, you would need to extract the bsp to a .obj file so you can import it into 3ds max and play with it there.
