When I open bloodgulch.scenario with Sapien, it closes like about 3 seconds. When I open tutorial.scenario, it works but if I put too much weapon mods in that map, it closes and it won't create as a map. Any solutions for this problem. I know many people has this problem but I can't find the right one.
NOTE: I've seen some solutions on how to fix it, which is a thing on task manager called "set affinity" I do not have that when I right click sapien.exe.

Try this lil program: imagecfg.exeIf you already have a tool shortcut, then just put this program into your Halo CE folder and run this command exactly: imagecfg -a 0x1 sapien.exeYou will no longer need to set sapien's affinity every time you launch it. :D If you work with a lot of programs that only work with one core then it will be easier if you just keep imagecfg.exe in your System32 folder. Then every time you install a legacy program, you can use this to assign it a single core to run on. How to use imagecfgEdited by OrangeJuice on Dec 24, 2011 at 12:09 AM

Try right clicking sapien go to properties go to compatibility on settings click the box that says disable desktop composition. Or right click on it and go to compatibility and click on run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows Xp (Service Pack 2). Hope that helps.

Also, halo, halo 1.5, halo CE, halo 2, and crysis will report "corrupt exe" if you run this program on them, don't do that!

Go to your Halo CE Directory, and click a button "Compatibility Files". Open up debug.txt and paste the LAST PARAGRAPH here.

Okay for some reason, when I reinstall HEK, sapien still closes but then today when I reinstalled it again, I could open bloodgulch if I run it as administrator, which never worked for me before too :P. If it does it again I will post the last paragraph of debug.txt.

Try looking in C:\Users\(Account Name Here)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo But that's if you're using Windows 7, and if you're using 64-bit software, use Program Files (x86)
When an account tries to save somewhere that needs Admin rights, it saves it in a virtual store instead, so it won't need Admin rights to save or use those files. Maybe your account is still using broken tags in your virtual store, instead of the new tags you installed. You should delete the tags folder in that virtual store (or by clicking Compatibility Files).

Honestly 9 times out of 10 this is 'caused by a missing tag, open the map in Guerilla and see if the name of anything is red. If any tags are red delete them and it should run correctly. Source: having this excact problem myself!
