Shame you people keep acting so hostile towards us in CMT, get over it man. The intention of this gamenight was to bring the community in a more friendly position towards each other, something you people clearly don't care about. I expected more from you lag, you seemed like a decent person when I talked to you on AIM in the past.

A. Not responding
B. Not playing something we don't enjoy

Especially during christmas break. We're not the type of virgins to blow off our friends and family to play a video game we don't like.

It's not that CMT members don't want to "join in" because we're all jerks.

It's because not many of the members even have accounts here or check often enough. Some, like me, don't even have a 360 so I personally didn't see a point in posting. Apparently though, you took it personally >.>

There's a whole slew of 'em who do man. And they could have just been nice and showed some appreciation for the gesture of a friendly gamenight. But hey at least we tried, and as a result there still will be a fun gamenight with or without them.

But they still don't check too often.

And again, I personally didn't feel a need to disappoint you by saying "I don't have a 360 lol can't join in sorry." (and it also makes me sad every time I say I don't have a 360...)

It's not exactly the type of thread title you'd miss and based on Masterz PM's they clearly knew about it, I'm not going to draw any conclusions as to why they didn't want to respond spontaneously.

The facts are clear however, when I inquired as to why there was no response Masterz implied we were all virgins for keeping a few hours aside during x-mas break.

As for you not having a 360, ignoring such an invitation is always the worst you can do (but honestly I kinda forgot you were even on CMT, so I didn't take your lack of response personally in the first place, we've always been "cool").

@Actual: the reason the gamenight isn't on PC is simply due to a lack of CD keys. Long story.

so if the team members lack legit copies of halo, how do they mod it?

I suggest Custom Games and not matchmaking or that dung. That way, we can tweak the game to our liking, not to mention Custom Games are an absolute BLAST, even in Halo Reach. TBH, the Title Update sucks badly because it's trying to turn Reach's gameplay into something it's not, mainly by messing with the melee system and making the pistol way too strong with it's quick firing rate without leading to balance it.

If a party does want to venture into matchmaking, I suggest Invasion or Anniversary Maps. Invasion and Anniversary Maps are the only two reasons I still play Reach multiplayer anyways. And for someone who thoroughly enjoys Reach, that's saying something.

It's no dark secret. I use the cd key of another person I know who is also participating in the game night, that means we can't go online at the same time. I did purchase the game, but lost the disc somehow after moving. It wasn't a problem until I had to reformat my computer, when re-installing Halo I needed a new key...and as I couldn't find my disc and box for the life of me, I was offered to use the CD key of a good human.

Long story short: I r honest guy :-)

Halo isn't on ps3 because Microsoft wants to have a grip over Halo. It is tyrannical; it makes people buy Xbox to be able to have the new halo games(3 upward.)

Tbh, this thread is ridiculous, all he wanted was for a bunch of halomaps people to get together and play games, regardless of who whines about how "Reach is Awful" or how any other game wont be fun , or which modding team dislikes which other modding team. Just get together and play a game for the fun of it. Its not like he is offering something that hard, just play some games.

Will there be a Halo CE gamenight soon?

Well I say we play something most people will agree on (halo 3) and then possibly split into smaller groups to play different games later on like GOW, Reach, BF3, MW3, ect.

Is this still happening?

Pretty sure it's happening sometime this month when Lodeman and I aren't busy. We'll let you know a date in before hand.

I wanted to do this tomorrow (friday) but got offered to taste beers with friends...
If you guys want to do this on saturday I THINK I'm free, although I'll have to check my agenda later :)
