Just curious, does anybody know what the CE engine is called? They don't call the Battlefield 3 engine "Battlefield 3 Engine," they call it the Frostbite 2 engine. Is there an actual name like that for the Halo CE engine? How about the Halo 2 Vista engine?

"Blam! engine" is what I know it as. I think it may also just be called the "Halo engine"
Not sure if that's correct though.

It can also be called MonkeyNuts if you want to be old school, but only the oldest Halo devteam knows it by that name, so you'd better just call it Blam! or halo engine :P

Oh ok, and I guess the other Halo games are made on newer Blam engines. Blam, what a great name.
