okay then, the major thing i need done is the top parts of the bases, i have started remodeling the cliffs and i am making the tunnel/cave better, i am currently debating whether to make the bridge at red teams base as scenery instead of implementing it into the bsp. plus i started making new light textures
i actually have a whole folder of referance pics too. Edited by killzone64 on Oct 29, 2011 at 12:06 PM Edited by killzone64 on Oct 29, 2011 at 12:15 PM

Best of luck. I would offer my assistance, but I have other obligations. Still, should those prior ties end up completed, and you still are working on this, hit me up. With the game in the hands of us devout Halo players, you should see a lot more pictures/videos. If not, ask someone who owns the game to get some for you (unless you have the game).

Usually starting a project such as this one you should just set a firm goal, keep working for perfection, and don't add things or behaviours that would slow it down.

sorry for the long time being gone this project kinda slipped to the back of my mind for a while
i would like to have noble work on the landscape for the time being, does anyone want to volunteer to make the bases on each side. i am building the red and blue bases in a different program that i am more accustomed to. Edited by killzone64 on Nov 21, 2011 at 08:15 PM

it is possable as long as the model is seperate from the bsp, all that the baking does is create a bump map that can be used in shader environments, i have done this before, the model can then be attached to the bsp. Edited by killzone64 on Dec 2, 2011 at 11:22 AM

tool_pro can bypass the 128MB limit.
No, I will not provide the link. Dennis'll delete it if he saw it. It's better if you just Google it.

Meant to say that it's not efficient nor probable. Sure it's possible, but since baking is uving certain locations then creating the bumps separately, you would have over 9000 bump maps for different regions not to mention that you also have to make the diffuse that matches what it would look like.
