On the help what do you mean by new textures? Do you mean create new textures, or put new textures on the BSP?

The Needler shaders shown in that screenshot are terrible, I can give you my H2 Needler with proper shaders if you want.

I like the idea of a b30 overgrown with plants. I def think you need to fix the textures though. People are right, plants don't just grow through metal, heh. Since it's overgrown, you could have some fun with a lot of decayed textures and broken down metal and stuff. If you do it right, it could look really good.

To be honest what I would do is script from scratch. I would not use the original campaign for this. I would give the player different encounters, stories, HUD messages, music, objectives, everything. This would not be a campaign mod, but a custom level besides the BSP.

There would be no resemblance between this and the actual b30 campaign, besides the BSP.

If only I can scripted very well I think I would have. If I get someone else to do it, Then what will I be?
I've seen people try to create map teams and the leaders role was "idea maker"... lame. I don't want to leave work for everyone else and I slack off. But I do like new encounters...

I'm going to go attempt to get halo 2 dialog(elite maybe? campaign quotes to replace cortana and 419?)... Unless someone else has one?

The thing is you aren't just the idea maker, I mean just look at the map! It looks amazing, I never thought it would ever be possible to turn a sandy beach into a jungle.

I can script anything you want. You want 5 AI encounters to spawn while playing music while a nav point shows up while your objective changes as dropships come in? Consider it done.

anyways I thought I should mention that I was using halo 3 hud if anyone cares. since there was no health bar I made it so when you injured cracks will appear on the visor. little weird since your an elite... oh well



oh yeah, I've seem to have ran into a problem, I can't open the .scenario in sapien. I just crashes.
no red text in gurrilla, and the weird part is the scenario can be compiled and played.

why can't I open it in sapien?
actually I'm using "a hobo" (kornman00's version of the HEK) and tool ++ with regular gurilla

As for the debug problem, open sapien and wait for it to crash again, then go get the last paragraph from the debug text.

corrupted animation tag somewhere. Did you include a monitor? The Monitors animations cant be ripped correctly, there is a working version online somewhere.

But there shouldn't be a monitor in this map, other wise when he added it sapien would of crashed then, it mus be something else.

no, no monitor. and my monitor works fine anyways

and I created exactly same map with the same tags and it worked...
minus like 200 pieces of scenery

open a different map, such as bloodgulch, and place all the ai in the map systematically until one of them crashes the game. If that doesn't work then start on anything else with animation tags in them. when the game crashes, you have your culprit!

Actually sir the animation tag is fine,the only corrupted animation in the monitor's animation graph is just one animation I forgot which one it is,all you have to do is open the animation tag and set the slot that is using it to <none>;.

The animation being set to <none>; isn't even noticed.

Is there a "uplink" animation for the elites? Is that the problem?

Oh, Update

So....
Heretic hunters have been updated.

Joddy Created the multi-purpose bitmap so that the hunter can glow!
They will have custom projectile...
EDIT: Projectile should be in a later post

the next things your about to see may make you angry on how noob-ish it is...

The Heretics seemed kinda boring with just carbines so I gave them a new weapon
